Weak airflow and restriction
Use this page when the system still runs, but the air output feels weaker than it used to.
What this usually means
Weak airflow can point to restriction from dusty filters, internal buildup, or a system that is overdue for proper maintenance. It does not prove a fault by itself, but it is a useful warning sign.
Do this first
Start with the easy restriction points: filters, visible vents, and obvious blockage around the indoor unit.
4-step check before you book
1
Clean the filters
Make sure the first airflow restriction point is not the filter itself.
2
Check the vent line
Look for visible dust or buildup where the air leaves the unit.
3
Compare the room feel
Notice whether the system takes longer to cool or move air than it used to.
4
Escalate on repeat
If airflow stays weak after the basics, the unit needs a deeper look.
